The Challenge

As head sponsor of the Deceuninck – Quick-Step Cycling team, Deceuninck wants to use the popularity and online reach of the Deceuninck– Quick-Step team to increase awareness and improve the image of the brand within the cycling community.

This is part of an overall strategy to make the brand fresh and young.


The Plan

WAVE came up with a content concept called ‘Always the right profile’. In this series of profile videos, 10 riders of the Wolfpack describe each other’s profile.

These videos will be used on Deceuninck’s social channels throughout the cycling season.


The Result

We started off the campaign with the profile videos of the team’s new Italian riders Mattia Cattaneo and Davide Ballerini.

On Facebook and Instagram these two videos reached 120k cycling fans.
