Lady Chef of the year is an award for artistic, innovative and technical merit of a female chef in the Belgian culinary scene.

It’s a prestigious, significant award. Given annually by peer chefs, critics and foodies, the award is a recognition of excellence in culinary, leadership and personal achievements.

Main goal: Making sure that young female chefs get inspired by new personalities.

CHALLENGE

Bring Lady Chef of the year back alive after a break of several years and update the event concept, communication to a more modern and premium appearance.

FAN JOURNEY

We came up with a total rebranding and the campaign/event concept “write your own recipe”.

Because as a female chef you have to create and follow your own instructions, your own recipe to success.

Today only 6% of the world’s top restaurants are led by women. So we really focused our campaign on inspiring young female chefs by creating role models = putting current female chefs and their story in the spotlight.
